The new school year starts again with our aim to add one more Phoenix teacher this year to help out Nancy, who will be taking two grades. Photos of the new school year will be posted here shortly!
Our Appeal was launched to raise funds for classroom materials for the rest of 2016 and the whole of 2017.
Over 50 families benefit from Plan Moo since our first cow in Ecuador was purchased in 2008 and then started in Guatemala, meaning their children’s secondary school, college and university costs can be sustainably covered in the future. We aim to double the herd over the next few months.
End of a successful school year with great results. When school restarts in September we aim to employ two local teachers and provide a full fruit program as well as restocking the school.
The hugely successful “ABOUT A BOY” art exhibition by Alan Barlow was held in London with all proceeds going towards teachers' salaries - a huge thankyou!

Teacher meeting in Urcusiqui. Having centralized the schools the government are now cutting the number of teachers in the school (from six to four across 7 grades) so we will be adding two more Phoenix teachers this year.
