San Rafael in Honduras is off to a great start for 2013. Carolina, Erika and Phomolo are working hard to cover all grades of Primary school and the secondary is continuing with a new grade being added each year. With help from the local community a new classroom is being built to give more space and a better teaching area.
Moli introduced the new school link with Jenner Park Primary in Wales, the school had made a scrap book all about their school and we will shortly be sending one back about San Rafael. Through the school link the children will learn about their partner school and also Jenner Park will help support Phoenix by holding a fundraising event!

Secondary school exams in Honduras
The third lot of exams in our Phoenix secondary school in Honduras are coming to an end this Friday 7th September, 2012. It is our fourth year offering further education in the community of San Rafael, where over 100 students from three other communities come each day to study, which they otherwise would not have had the chance to do.
