May 2013

Victor Maldonado celebrated its anniversary this month, with the usual “antorchas” marched around with pride at night! They also celebrated with a day in the school, with theatre, poems, songs and games. Celebrating the anniversary is so important for the children and the community, allowing them to learn and improve their future lives.

2012

Brayner

3rd September 2012 was a very memorable day in Perú. One of our 4 year-old students at the Phoenix Peru supported school at Chiriguana, Brayner, wrote his name all by himself! He’s now one step closer of his end goal… to grow up to become Spider-Man. We’re so proud of you Brayner!

 

 

24th Anniversay of Villa el Triunfo

 

Sunday, September 2nd marked the 24th anniversary for the community of Villa el Triunfo, Perú. In celebration, the primary and inicial students were invited to participate. Each student proudly marched down the street to the music played by the band. It was an afternoon fully of smiles and food that everyone enjoyed. Feliz Aniversario Triunfo!!
