We invest in a certain quantity of chickens, feed and infrastructure and the income from egg sales and meat will be shared between the families and the school costs each month. This was started in 2014 in Guatemala and 2015 in Ecuador and Honduras.
So far almost 100 families have benefited from Plan Pollo and we aim to increase this number during 2017 and 2018.
Each Plan Pollo, depending on the quantity of chickens, costs between £100 and £500 to start which includes coop, full stock and feed. For more information on how to get involved and donate to Plan Pollo and the children’s and families’ future, please contact us.
