In 2026 we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary working in Perú with a charity challenge there. In 2027 a milestone will be reached as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary working in Latin America by hosting charity challenges in Ireland and London.
Charity Challenges are an extremely important part of our fundraising each year for The Phoenix Projects. They are not just a trip so we do ask you to fundraise on top of what you pay for the trip itself. We will provide you with fundraising pages and tips.
Please follow the links below for more information, the itinerary and prices of each challenge. If you don’t think you will be able to fundraise it is best not to join the group thereby potentially taking the place of someone who could fundraise for the projects.
We will plant trees to help cover your carbon footprint for the challenge, including inbound and outbound flights.

Perú 20th Anniversary Colca Challenge – July 2026
To celebrate 20 years working in Perú we will be taking on Colca Canyon.
The Phoenix Projects 25th Anniversary Ireland Challenge – May 2027
To celebrate 25 years working in Latin America we will be taking on a multi day hike along most of the Kerry Way on the Southwest Coast of Ireland and climbing Carrauntoohil, Ireland’s highest mountain. The preliminary dates are 15-22nd May.
The Phoenix Projects 25th Anniversary London Bridges Challenge – October 2027
To celebrate 25 years working in Latin America we will be taking on the fifteen bridges crossing the Thames whilst walking 12 miles/20kms. The preliminary date is Saturday 2nd October.
